Parrish Heritage Festival Chili Cook Off – March 2, 2019

when Pat Neal with Neal communities
isn’t building new homes in Manatee County he’s giving back to the community
this is my fifth or sixth year I think I made a $5,000 donation this
I provide support from this in parish and other things embarrassing part of my
membership in the community and our interest in growing and being part of
the community recently Neal donated his time and money
to help support the annual Paris chili cook-off help Ben Jordan the vice
president of the Paris competition says is greatly appreciated
I think it’s wonderful we couldn’t do this without our sponsors they make all
the difference to us being able to do that needs
then a great supporter of in its eighth year festival was held at
the Florida railroad museum grounds attracted more than 2500 people during
live entertainment games and of course a chili cook-off it was one of the guest
servers job he takes very seriously it’s really very easy job
you get to see people you talk to about whatever is going on in their life and
give them a little thing of chilli most will remember the young chili and fun
times organizers say what they love most about
the event is how it helps them give back to the community all the proceeds go
back to the parish foundations grant fund which are passed back to the
community and grants and in seven years we passed back two hundred and twenty
thousand dollars a chili cook-off Neal says he’s happy to
be a part of and looks forward to helping more people in the community in
the future creating community events and creating community like this is
important part of our work at Neal and also part of my job is the citizen
Amanda County you ma’am
