Hello. My name’s Lusin, and welcome to my quick and easy tutorial on how to install texture packs in Minecraft. *Minecraft texture pack comparison* The first thing to do is obviously get a texture pack, so I downloaded one called Realistico. Next, what you gotta do to install your texture pack is copy and paste it into your Minecraft’s texture pack folder. To go there, search for %appdata% in the exact way I spelt it with percent (%) signs on each end. There should be a folder called “Roaming”. Select it. Finally, go to the .minecraft folder, then the “resourcepack folder”, and paste in your texture pack. Now the texture pack is installed, but we’re not done just yet. To apply the texture pack in game, we have to change Minecraft’s game settings. So lets open Minecraft. As you can see, here is Minecraft with it’s default texture. Lets change it to the texture pack I installed. Go to your Game Settings, Options, and Resource Packs There’s our texture pack. Click over the arrow to apply it, and that’s it. You are now able to play Minecraft with a different resource pack. And that’s all there is to it. That is how you install a texture pack in Minecraft.
