Beton Seifenschale * DIY * Concrete Soap Dish [eng sub]

We are going to need concrete – I already mixed some: I mixed 1 part cement and 3 parts sand. Then I added water until I received a consistancy, which is good to work with. Then we are going to need stones, acrylic paint or spray, a little bit of oil, a mold and anti-slip knobs. First, we are going to brush the mold with oil. This will help the dry concrete come out of the container much easier. Now, we are going to fill the mold with concrete. It is advisable to tap out the air bubbles. Next, we are going to place the stones onto the concrete. Now, we are going to let it dry for a couple of days. I made a second one and let the concrete dry for about 2 days. Now, we can take it out of the containers and remove any excess by washing it off. Then we are going to let it dry again. Now, we are going to coat them. In the end we are going to glue these anti-slip knobs to our soap dish and then we are finished.

  1. Seifenschalen sollten ja eigentlcih innen etwas tiefer sein..damit die nasse Seife nach Gebrauch nicht überläuft. So kann ich sie auch aufs Waschbecken legen. Schade..
